Circus Of Horrors At Blackpool Grand Theatre

The spectacular Circus of Horrors screams back into Blackpool’s Grand Theatre on Sunday 27th February with the brilliantly bizarre new production The Four Chapters from Hell as part of the resort’s Showzam! ’11 festival.

The terrifying troupe will take you on a journey through all four incredible incarnations of the rocking and shocking Circus of Horrors to celebrate its 15th bloody year of treading the boards.

Travel from a French Asylum where the inmates are liberated and become performers in the show, to Mexico where they try to revive their dead leader in the Day of the Dead celebrations, to Victorian London in the 1890s with the Freak Show in town and finally to Sin City in 2020 - a futuristic vision of Mad Max style civilization inhabited by vampires, zombies and the undead.

The new phantasmagoria Four Chapters From Hell contains some of the greatest, most bizarre and beautiful circus acts on earth from daredevil flying trapeze to a vampiric crow woman suspended only by her hair, whirlwind roller skaters, sword swallowers, pickled and bendy people, voodoo warriors, knife throwers and an almighty cast of 26 of the wildest, weirdest, but most of all, greatest performers on earth with the help of the devil driven rock 'n' roll of Dr Haze and The Interceptors From Hell.

It is a staggering 15 years since the Circus of Horrors first trampled the bloody boards and has since toured relentlessly around the world achieving cult status and generally dragging circus screaming and shouting into the 21st century and beyond.
