Snow White & The Seven Dwarves at Colne Muni - 6th to 22nd January 2012
PMA Productions returns to Colne for another year with a brand new version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The happy-ever-after fairytale - originally by the Brothers Grimm - is brought up-to-date with modern references, songs and jokes a plenty in this fun-filled, musical show for all the family.
Snow White, played by the talented Lauren Atkins, dreams of meeting a Prince to fall in love with and sweep her off her feet.
Like many fairytales, there are dark forces afoot and this story has an evil Wicked Queen played by Amy Skillman (seen recently on Britain's Got Talent and Channel 5's Don't Stop Believing) and her ever-willing assistant Ramsbottom - played by Chris Quinten, who many will remember as Coronation Street's Brian Tilsley.
After consulting her Magic Mirror, the vain Wicked Queen discovers that Snow White is the most beautiful girl in the land...and so she plots to do away with her, ordering Ramsbottom to do the deed!
Will he do it to Snow White, who is unaware of the Queen's hatred of her?
Will Snow White meet and marry a Prince?
Comedy genius Keith De'Winter returns as Dame Duddles with her sidekick son George Critchley as Muddles.
Along with a full supporting troupe of dancers from East Lancashire School of Dance and all the traditional ingredients of a fun-filled, family pantomime, this is sure to be a festive treat for any age.
