Sponsored "Catwalk" with Miss Fylde Coast - 20th March

On Sunday 20th March reigning Miss Fylde Coast Kerry Capoverde and a number of friends and supporters will be embarking on a sponsored walk with a difference in aid of young suicide charity PAPYRUS.

"Catwalk the Coast" is a sponsored walk down the Fylde Coast, with a twist- the participants will be walking in heels! Male or female, young or old everyone involved will be strutting their stuff down the Fylde in aid of this fantastic charity and The Variety Club.

Organiser Kerry Capoverde said: "My work friends/family and I have recently been affected by the tragic loss of a beautiful friend. In light of these awful circumstances we were made aware of Papyrus, a relatively unknown charity with the aim of preventing young suicide and promoting positive mental health.

I am very passionate about raising funds and awareness for this very worthwhile charity! Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity. So please dig deep and donate now."
