Afterwards, she said: "I'm so proud to have done it! The conditions were perfect and there were amazing views from the plane above the clouds."
The 2011 Miss Blackpool Competition gets under way on Thursday 23rd June with the first of 7 heats at Uncle Toms Cabin On Queen's Promenade in Blackpool.
It is free to enter and you do not have to live in Blackpool to qualify.
Any girls aged 18 to 30 can join in whether or not they are married or have children and the competiton reaches an exciting climax with a big black tie Grand Final at the Norbreck Castle Hotel on Friday 19th August.
