Michael Barr has supported MAG International for the last 12 months. Profits from the first edition of Michael’s book ‘How to Invest Better than the Average Primate’ launched last year went to the charity. The highly successful first edition of the book is now sold out and an updated second edition will be launched at the London Stock Exchange in May.
During the dinner, which was attended by 90 clients and friends of Michael Barr Wealth Managers, Michael announced that all profits from the second edition of the book will also go to MAG International.
Michael said “I was absolutely delighted that so many people joined us to support this worthy cause. MAG are an inspiring humanitarian organisation who work throughout the world to clear land mines and allow war struck communities to return to living more normal lives; removing the threat of death and injuries that many of them live with constantly. I am honoured that I have been able to help their extraordinarily brave work through my book sales and this charity dinner. Thank you to everyone who supported us on the night.”
