North West Lady Songwriters Special - on Preston FM Tomorrow!

To help celebrate the centenary of International Womens Day, we are running a special radio programme on Preston FM on Monday 7th March at 12 noon featuring lady songwriters from the North West.

We will be talking to Preston based Sara Creeney (top photo) who introduces a couple of her own compositions and talks about her work and her plans for the future.

We will also feature an interview with Steph Ashcroft (bottom photo) - a guitar-based singer songwriter from Blackpool  and talk to Janie Britton from Rawtenstall band Call Me Diva about their new single.

Lucy London tells of how she got into songwriting and how she came to co-write an acoustic punk song and we also feature music from Rae Morris, Laura Catlow, Emma Holbrook and Mauri Clash City Rocker.

"North West Lady Songwriters" will be broadcast on Preston FM on Monday 7th March from 12noon to 1pm GMT. You can hear Preston FM on 103.2FM in the local area or worldwide via the internet on http://www.preston.fm/
