The Sting are currently 3rd in the English Nationla League Division 2 North Table, having won 10 of the 14 games this season but the Flyers will be hoping to make home advantage coun in only their second ever home match at the Sub Zero rink.
The Flyers have a backlog of home games to fit in as the rink was not ready to stage matches until early December.
The Flyers home match against Sutton Sting is on Saturday 7th January, face off 5pm with the return game on Sunday evening at the Ice Sheffield venue.
Looking ahead to this weekend's games, Flyers team manager Mick Caunce said: "Sutton Sting are in their 4th Season and this year have secured a major sponsor who has invested big to bring in players from higher divisions to attempt the move up to Div 1.
However, runaway league leaders Solway Sharks look like they have scuppered this plan - and Sting will have to fight for the 2nd spot play-off with 2nd bottom in Div 1."
