Each year, The ACE Centre, Nelson runs the North West heat of The Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition with winners progressing to rounds in London. Previous entrants have included Jack Whitehall, Russell Kane, Imran Yusuf, Rhod Gilbert and Greg Davies. So what are you waiting for? You too could join this glittering list of comedy alumni.
The audience will vote to decide who goes through, a truly democratic process. Entrants will be travelling to The ACE from all over the North West but we’d love to see some local talent taking to the stage on the night. MC for the evening will be the award winning Scottish act Jo Jo Sutherland, as seen on TV.
Entry to the contest is free and the audience get a good deal too. Entry is £5 or there’s a meal deal including Chilli or Lasagne (vegetarian option available) for just £10.
