Ice Hockey: Fans Hope For More Of The Same As Flyers Take On Stingrays

Fylde Flyers new Latvian signing Janis Grinbergs notched up his first point of the season in the 6-4 home win over Bradford Bulldogs at Sub Zero last Saturday evening and local ice hockey fans will be hoping for more of the same as Flyers entertain Hull ENL Stingrays this weekend.

The Flyers narrowly lost 6-3 away at Hull earlier in the season and will hopeful of giving their visitors a tough game on home ice.

Team captain Wayne Whitby has been pleased by the level of support that the team has built up in such a short time. He said: "It's a real buzz for the lads to play in front of a great crowd like that and we really appreciate it. Roll on next Saturday !"


Fylde Flyers take on Hull ENL Stingrays in English League Division 2 North on Saturday 21st January at the Sub Zero rink in Cleveleys. Face off: 5pm, doors open at 4.20pm. £5 Adults £3 Concessions.
