Celtic Dream Saturday, 7th April 2012 at North Pier Theatre, Blackpool

Saturday 7th April is a date to put in your diary. That is when Ireland is coming to Blackpool! Celtic Dream has been created to bring one of the most original and authentic shows in the world to you.

With a selection of the finest dancers, vocalists and musicians from around Ireland, Celtic Dream will enchant and take audiences on an uplifting journey of song and dance with a kaleidoscope of colour against a backdrop of highly infectious, powerful and spirit invoking music.

The Celtic Dream show is the perfect blend of traditional Irish music alongside modern and popular songs. Heartwarming performances feature astoundingly choreographed dance routines and a touch of the old Irish ‘craic’.

Celtic Dream is also delighted to include among its cast, the magnificent Dream Tenors, a trio of talented young male vocalists with a very special sound, who were recently invited by Tourism Ireland to support music icon Van Morrison in a show-stopping performance last night at St James’ Palace especially for Irish ministers and members of The English Royal Family.

Dream Tenors’ vocalist John Ward has also penned a forward-looking, positive and uplifting, national song for Northern Ireland titled Home.

Show creator and producer Peter Tobit said, “England has it’s Jerusalem, Scotland has it’s Flower of Scotland and now thanks to the songwriting skills of John Ward, Northern Ireland has it’s anthemic Home, the lyrics of which sum of the hope and positive future for Ireland.”

Celtic Dream embodies the true spirit of Ireland and will leave you mesmerised and wanting more and more of the ultimate Irish experience.

Audiences will be delighted with time-honoured tunes like Danny Boy and Carrickfergus to the haunting modern day classics of Sarah McLachlan's In the Arms of the Angels.

To experience Celtic Dream is to experience the genuine heart and soul of Ireland.
