Ice Hockey: Wyre Seagulls v Blackpool Raiders Rec Match - 17th December
We had a great evening out watching two local recreational teams play a fantastic game of ice hockey at the Sub Zero rink in Cleveleys on Saturday evening. The Blackpool Raiders beat Wyre Seagullls 14-4, thrilling a sizeable crowd in an excellent advert for the game.
Definitely to be encouraged - watch this space!

In an exciting new development, the Blackpool Raiders club have decided to change their name to Blackpool Seagulls to ressurect the traditional team name of Blackpool ice hockey which dates back to 1938. The team will be managed and coached by former Blackpool Seagulls import Dave Anthony.
The new reformed Blackpool Seagulls will play their first match on Saturday 25th February against the UK Firefighters Ice Hockey team - at the Sub Zero ice rink in Cleveleys - face off 5pm.
