See Table Toppers Fylde In Action This Saturday!

Fylde Rugby Club welcome Harrogate to the Woodlands Memorial Ground on Saturday (ko 15.00) for another important Roses battle in National Two (North).
Due to a player registration irregularity, previous leaders Loughborough Students have been deducted five points and that leaves Fylde at the top of the league table. They will be anxious to continue their promotion campaign on Saturday against a talented Harrogate squad that will provide very dangerous opposition.
Fylde will need to reproduce the kind of form shown in their outstanding 46-0 win last Saturday at Kendal if they are to pick up maximum points.
Fylde will hope to select from all the players who featured in the Kendal triumph together with Jason Robinson who will be available once more. The coaches face the selection dilemma, and a very pleasant one at that, of where to play the England legend. Richard Kenyon had an immense game at full-back at Kendal and new fly-half Steve Collins on his starting début at Mint Bridge gave real creativity to Fylde's attacking play. Nick Royle's imminent absence on England 7s duty in New Zealand and the USA might provide the answer.
Fylde Head Coach, Mark Nelson said: "Fylde and 'Gate is a fixture that extends way back and is always a keenly contested game. Both sides like to play attractive rugby and the Harrogate back line is always strong and full of creative players. The team lining up against us on Saturday will be no exception. I remember playing against fine England players Peter Squires and Roger Shackleton and that tradition continues."
