We are very proud to advise that OUR dance teachers – Fever Dance Company from Preston - are appearing on the 2011 Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour that is playing at arenas around the country until 13th February.Fever Dance Company’s Adult Formation Team – current British Latin champions - will be dancing with the stars; its Junior Team will also be joining the tour for some dates when the adult dancers can't get time off from their day jobs.
The company, which is based on Mornington Road, Preston, was chosen after Strictly judge Craig Revell- Horwood saw a video of them competing.
Fever Dance boss Stephen Holland told the Lancashire Evening Post: “We got a phone call the week before Christmas asking us if we could do the Strictly Tour with our Adult Form and it’s all sort of spiralled from there.
“Obviously everybody has jobs so we are drafting in the Junior Team as well. Everyone is really excited.”
The company will perform on all 35 dates of the tour and will be performing a showstopping routine with the professional dancers, including Kristina Rihanoff, Ola Jordan and Artem Chigventsev.
They also dance in the finale with the professionals and celebrities like actress Patsy Kensit, Olympic athlete Colin Jackson, film star Jimi Mistry and the Rt Hon Anne Widdecombe.
