Professional Music Workshops At Uncle Tom's Cabin, Blackpool - 25th October

There's a great opportunity to learn from some true music professionals on Tuesday 25th October as top drummer Steve White and singer songwriter Sam Gray are holding a workshop at Uncle Tom's Cabin in Blackpool.

Steve White is one of Britain's finest drummers of the last 30 years (Paul Weller, Style Council, Ocean Colour Scene, Oasis and The Who) while Sam Gray is a new, up-and-coming guitarist and singer-song writer featured on both BBC Radio 2  and Paul & Lucy's Best Kept Secrets on Preston FM

This will be an entertaining evening of music, musicianship, song writing and survival techniques of establishing and maintaining a career as a working musician and those all elusive record deals and major tours.
Tickets £10 in advance and available from Uncle Tom's Cabin (Queens Promenade, Blackpool), Electric Avenue (Whitegate Drive, Blackpool), Dazamakiz (North Road, Cleveleys), H W Music (Heatley Street, Preston) and online at http://www.rockbeats.co.uk/ . LIMITED AVAILABILITY

Sam Gray is a member of our Lancashire Songwriters Facebook group and we had a chat with him about a songwriting workshop entails.  You can hear what he had to say by clicking on the sound icon below  (this may take longer if you are using a Mac...):
