Wardrobes were cleared in anticipation of the clothes swapping event as the St Mary’s Centre was transformed into the most stylish clothes shop in town for the evening.
The swishing was a fantastic success with designer, high street and vintage outfits all finding new homes. And everyone left with a smile on their face, happy in the knowledge that they’d swapped and not shopped. A fantastic charity raffle was also held on the evening with some astonishing prizes to support Women’s Aid.
The star prize on the evening, a Crystal with an Edge statement necklace from Martine Wester Jewellers, provided a show stopping finale to the giveaway and the event added to the £266 Girl’s Guide has raised for Women’s Aid to date.
In fact, it was such a successful night that everyone wanted to do it all again as soon as possible .... so the next one will be on Friday 20th January 2012!
