Fylde Flyers ice hockey team make a quick return to Dumfries on Saturday for a second game away at Solway Sharks in just over a week and will be looking to improve on last Saturday's 16-0 defeat
Team manager Mick Caunce said:
"The Sharks like us are in there first season in the English league but they have played many years as a top Scotish team (2009/10 NL champions) they now want to try there hand south of the border and are looking favourites to win the EIHA North Div II and gain this seasons automatic promotion slot.
They have had some impressive results in the Northern Cup also with a 7 - 1 win over Div I Whitley Warriors (last seasons Div I champions) and 2 - 1 win away at Billingham who have re-born after a season out for a rink refurbishment.
We travel this week with a few changes and hope to improve on last week's result."
