Plans are afoot to build a new world class golf resort complex on the Wirral peninsular close to the existing Royal Liverpool Golf Course at Hoylake.
The plans were unveiled by Wirral Borough Council at a special media brunch at the Ricoh Womens British Open golf championship whihc is being held for the first time at the Hoylake course this weekend.
The plans for the new resort include a 5 star hotel and spa as well as a new international standard golf course and come as part of a wider regeneration and tourism package that is being put in place across the borough.
The council are now looking for potential partners to express their interest in participating in this new adventurous project. More information can be found at: www.investwirral.com
