Heading to the Wirral this September for the Ricoh British Women's Golf Tournament?

Don't forget to visit The Wilfred Owen Story in Argyle Street, Birkenhead.

This is the UK's only permanent exhibition commemorating the iconic First World War poet.

Wilfred Owen spent his formative years in Birkenhead. The touchstones of his boyhood remain intact within a small area of the town.

The Wilfred Owen Story holds exhibits generously donated by the Owen Family and leading academics.

The poetry of Wilfred Owen is as relevant today as when his frozen hand penned the words in the horror of the trenches.
