Ji Yai Shin Wins Ricoh Womens British Open Golf Championship

South Korean Ji Yai Shin overcame ferocious winds and rain in the fourth round of the Ricoh Womens British Open Golf Championship at Hoylake yesterday to secure her second British open title - adding to the crown that she won in 2008.

She finished on an amazing 9 under par - 9shots ahead of fellow Korean Inbee Park who finished second on par, followed closely by American poster girl Paula Creamer and +1 and Japanese Mika Miyazato on +2.

The highest placed British finisher was 2009 champion Catriona Matthew from Scotland who came joint 10th on +7.
