We booked a table for 31st October to sample the festive Hallowee'n menu and the food was superb - there was a wide choice of starters, three good mains and a lovely selection of desserts - all home cooked. There is also a comprehensive wine list. From the festive fair on offer we selected Samosas and Spiced Pumpkin Soup - both were delicious. To follow we tried the Turkey with all the trimmings and the Gammon and Peach - accompanied by sprouts and a superb and innovative vegetable medley with lots of roast potatoes. For dessert, we chose the very appropriate hot Parkin with Custard and a delectable chocolate cheese-cake. The presentation was lovely too. Tea and coffee to complete the meal.
