Review: Birds Of A Feather 2012 Tour / Blackpool Grand Theatre

What a pleasure it was to see those much loved television characters Sharon, Tracy and Dorian brought back to life - this time on the theatre stage - in a brand new show penned by the original TV writers bringing the story right up to date and Pauline Quirke, Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph are really great in this humorous show.
Birds of a Feather ran on BBC1 for nearly ten years throughout the 1990s becoming a massive hit right from the word go. It remains not only a classic comedy but also, as a female-centred long-running series, a truly rare gem.

And now the three stars have reunited to recreate their adored characters, sisters Sharon and Tracy and their sex-mad neighbour, Dorian, in a brand new show from the producers of the highly successful stage adaptation of Victoria Wood's Dinnerladies.

The show runs at the Blackpool Grand Theatre until Saturday 28th April - for show times and tickets, visit the website at: www.blackpoolgrand.co.uk

The tour continues around the country until July. You can see the rest of the tour dates here: http://www.birdsontour.com/tourdates.html
