It cost around £100 million for Emirates to get their name on Arsenal's Ashburton Grove stadium and other big names have also paid large sums for similar deals. But YOU can have the chance of getting your company's name attached to a Premier Division football ground for just £50. That's right - £50!
Ok, we may not be talking Arsenal or Manchester United or Liverpool and we may be talking the Premier Division of the North West Counties Football League but Squires Gate FC have come up with the idea of raffling the clubs stadium naming rights for the 2012/13 season and it costs just £50 to enter the draw.
Albert Cooper explains: "Like all small football football clubs, Squires Gate FC are looking to raise funds to help to be able to keep playing. Our groundsman, Brian Addison, who has been everything for the club, from player, skipper, sec. chairman, and award winning non league groundsman, spotted an article about Bath football club, who had put the name of their stadium up to raise funds, and he thought it might be what we are looking for.So we are selling tickets at £50 a go, and the winner will be able to name our Stadium the name of their choice."
All entrants will also receive a free season ticket for all of next season's home matches.
