Charity Swishing Event In Burnley - 2nd March

There’s a new trend on the streets of Lancashire and it’s coming to Burnley on Friday 2nd March!
Swishing is shopping without the hangover! It's ethical, social and fun.  Bring your fabulous unwanted vintage, designer and high street clothes currently lurking unloved in your wardrobe and swap for other people's treasures. You might bring a sweater and take home a pair of killer heels, or donate a frock and take a stunning handbag from the rail!

Browse the rails brimming with other people's unwanted goodies and find gorgeous items to replenish your wardrobe.  There will be clothes-a-plenty including vintage, designer and high street treats so don’t miss it.  And there will be a fantastic raffle on the night to support Women’s Aid with some stunning prizes up for grabs.

So grab the clothes you’ve outgrown, whether literally or stylistically, and head on down to Koko’s on Elizabeth Street in Burnley on Friday 2nd March.  The doors open at 6pm and tickets are available via the Girl’s Guide website www.girlsguidehq.com for just £5 in advance or £6 on the door.

THE RULES OF THE RAIL
   * Everyone must bring at least two items of quality clothing to participate, on hangers where possible.
  * All items must be clean, presentable and in wearable condition, with no tears or stains.
  * You will have 30 minutes to browse before the Swish opens.
  * No item may be claimed before the Swish opens.
  * As soon as the Swish is declared open, everyone may take what they like.
  * If more than one person likes an item, this will be settled by pulling a raffle ticket.
  * Due to the nature of swishing, we can’t guarantee size, style or availability of items on the night.  If you can’t find something you like, you’re welcome to take something for a friend.
  * All leftover items will be donated to local charity shops.
