The Pavilion Tea Room and Restaurant in Ashton Gardens, St. Annes-on-the-Sea, Lancashire have announced a special Valentine's Evening dinner with live entertainment and a romantic three-course meal.
The menu sounds wonderful:
Starters - butternut squash and cherry tomato soup or salad of crayfish tails and oak smoked salmon or asparagus wrapped in air-dried ham or home-made spinach and ricotta ravioli or Cumberland sausage and Bury black pudding duet
Mains = poached wild halibut or braised belly of pork with apple puree and walnuts or golden butter roasted poussin or stuffed red peppers with cherry tomato and chervil coulis or roasted prime rib of beef.
Desserts - white chocolate mousse or grand mariner and strawberry meringue nest or raspberry creme brûlée or Chef's signature Tiramisu with a demitase of alcoholic espresso or sticky toffee pudding.
I don't know about you but I could eat all of those!
