Have you visited Stanley Park lately? It's a brilliant place and looks fantastic, even in the depths of winter.
The Friends of Stanley Park Visitors' Centre, next door to the Parks Art Deco Cafe are currently showing an exhibition about the Illuminations from now until 3rd March 2013.
Further exhibitions are planned during 2013:
15th March - 12th May "Blackpool Winter Gardens"
16th May - 14th July "Comrades" showcasing the collection of the Comrades of the Great War Club in Blackpool
18th July - 22nd September "Lost" - looking at some of Blackpool's lost buildings
26th September - 1st December "Landscape Masterpiece" about Stanley Park
5th December 2013 - 2nd February 2014 "Dug In"about the World War One Trenches in Blackpool
