Kind- hearted ice hockey player Dan Fearon will be skating up and down Blackpool promenade for 12 hours on Sunday 26th August.
Dan, who played for the Fylde Flyers ice hockey team in English National League Division 2 North will be skating between the North and South piers to raise money for Callum Pollock.
Dan explains: "Callum has a terminal illness called Hurler Syndrome and I used to coach him at Blackpool before he had a hip operation that went wrong and left him paralysed. Cal continues to come and watch the Flyers but this is something very close to my heart - so please sponsor me."
A sponsorship form will be available for people to fill in at the first Fylde Flyers home match of the season - a friendly game against the Sheffield Senators at the Sub Zero Ice Arena in Cleveleys on Saturday 18th August, face off 5pm - or you can sponsor Dan online via the new website that he has set up.
