Joe Longthorne is to play a special one-off show at the Layton Institute on 20th December as part of Leye D John's Christmas cabaret lounge season. It will be first his first performance at the venue for over 30 years, since before his big break and TV fame beckoned.
Joe said: “I’ve enjoyed the tour so much this year, and with Leye working so hard with me to make it such a great success – I thought it only fitting to round things off for 2011 with an intimate show at Leye’s new Christmas home at the Cabaret Lounge, Layton on Tuesday December 20th, as a way of saying thank you to him for all his efforts over the year. The last time I worked Layton, I got the call from ITV all those years ago. It brings back great memories”.
More used to venues seating over 1000 people, this performance to just 250 guests in an intimate setting is a rare type of gig for Joe Longthorne and his entourage so anybody wanting to book, should do so quickly!
