The "Mechanics" had to play their last 4 league games away from home in a frenetic 8 day period winning away 4-0 at Oldham Boro on 23rd April , drawing 0-0 at Atherton Collieries on Easter Monday (the first time they had failed to score in a match since November...), winning 2-1 away at Holker Old Boys on the Wednesday evening and then beating AFC LIverpool 1-0 on the last day of the league season the following Saturday.
Not surprisingly, manager Stuart Parker picked up the Vodkat Manager of the Month Award for April.
AFC Blackpool are still chasing a possible treble for the season and are at home on Wednesday evening in the semi final of the First Division Trophy competition - why not go along and give them your support for this final home match of the season...?
