See The World Famous Black Dyke Band At Blackpool Grand Theatre - 1st May

Hit the right note with an unforgettable evening at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre on Sunday 1st May as Black Dyke Band performs a stunning programme of classical music and family favourites under the expert baton of Nicholas Childs.

Black Dyke Band is the world’s most famous brass band with over 150 years of rich musical history. Formed in Yorkshire in 1855, Black Dyke is also the most successful contesting band in the world, having won the European Championships eleven times, the British Open no fewer than 29 times and the National Championships of Great Britain 22 times (most recently 2008 and 2009). In 2007 the band were invited to take part in the BBC Promenade Concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, London and in 2009 Black Dyke was named Champion Band at the English National Championships.

Black Dyke Band is at Blackpool’s Grand Theatre on Sunday 1st May at 7.30pm.
