RAF v Army Charity Football Match & Family Fun Day at Fleetwood Town Football Club - Sunday 8th May

There's a great opportunity for a fun family day out and to help raise money for two very good causes at this special Armed Forces Charity Family Day which is being held at Fleetwood Town Football Club and the neighbouring Memorial Park on Sunday 8th May.

It all kicks off at 11am with the final of the local Sunday Alliance being played on the pitch at Highbury while, from 12 noon onwards, there will be lots of fun attractions, inclduing paintball shooting and a flight simulator.

At 2pm the RAF take on the Army at football with guest managers Micky Mellon and Crain Madden overseeing the teams and, at half time, the Young People Pride Of Fleetwood Parade will walk around the pitch.

The match wil be followed by a full military tattoo with bands and displays going on until 6pm. Fleetwood Town's wonderful Jims Bar will be open for refreshments throughout the day as will the catering stands.

Admission to the event is free but there will be collection buckets situated around the ground.  Proceeds from the day will be split between the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) and the Army Benevolent Fund.
