NWCFL Premier Division: AFC Blackpool Notch Up First Win

AFC Blackpool picked up their first win of the season with a 2-1 win away at Barnoldswick Town. AFC's start to the season has been affected by building works at their home ground meaning that they have had to play all their games away.

Squires Gate FC lost 0-2 at home to Wigan Robin Park.

Gate are 18th in the league table with 5 points from their first 7 games and AFC Blackpool are one place below them with 4 points from 7 games.

AFC Blackpool are at home on Tuesday night when they entertain Ashton Athletic in a 7.45 kick off.  Squires gate are away at Barnoldswick the same evening.

On Saturday, Squires Gate play in the FA Vase away at Maltby Main while AFC Blackpool are in league action away at West Didsbury and Chorlton.
