Emmaus Preston - the homeless charity that works - is a star among charity shops.  They have a cafe where you can have snacks and a scone and tea so why not check it out.

They also have a Craft Centre on the First Floor where they run all sort of craft courses and workshops.  In some cases there may be a nominal charge of £25 for those who can afford it.
