We met Basil a couple of years ago when we presented him with an ACE Award (see photo). Lucy's sister, who is a ballet dancer, was in panto with Basil and said what a charming fellow he is. When Lucy met him, she was bowled over as well so it was a great pleasure to have a chat with him looking ahead to his next visit to Blackpool.
