World War 2 RAF veteran Roy Hardacre and Miss Blackpool Jessica Berry were guests of honour at a special musical evening that raised over £ 500 for a local ex servicemen’s charity at the Carousel Hotel.Local good causes record label TTN Records launched their annual Christmas CD for the troops at a party night held in aid of the Blackpool branch of the Royal Marines Association.
The CD entitled “Wonderful World” by Frankie & Friends has 14 tracks by local artists, many of whom appeared on the night, along with Blackpool based Sahara’s Harem belly dance troupe and modern jive dancers from Bev Lewis’s Revolution Dance class.
Copies of the CD are available free of charge to ex servicemens’ groups to use for fundraising purposes, ideally to be auctioned at special events rather then just sold at face value. For more information, e-mail good causes record label TTN records ttnrecords@btinternet.com
