Today we welcomed the Houghton Weavers - well, two of them anyway - and the third one later... - to Preston FM where we recorded an interview for a special show to be aired next week. Popular Lancashire folk band The Houghton Weavers will be featured in a special one hour radio programme on Preston FM next Friday (4th December) at 12 noon.
In this fascinating show, Guitarist David Littler and vocalist Tony Berry tell host Paul Breeze about how the Weavers first got together, about their successful BBC television series and recount various funny stories from their 35 years together as a band.
Featuring an exclusive preview of songs from their new CD “Ae Fond Kiss”, the show also looks ahead to the Weavers’ annual Christmas show at Preston Guildhall on Sunday 20th December.
