Ice Hockey: Squeelers Down Seagulls In Close Encounter

Blackpool Seagulls ice hockey team lost 6-4 to the Sheffield Squeelers in a hard fought challenge match at Ice Sheffield on Saturday. 

The Seagulls played very well in view of the fact that they only had 10 players available and netminder Peter Bleackley (hidden in photo) faced 45 shots.

The Seagulls goals were scored by: Higson, Coxon, Wrigley & Simi.

Seagulls next match is at home at the SubZero ice arena in Cleveleys on Saturday 12th May - 5pm face off.
